The Experience
Oishi Park "Oishi Park" in Lake Kawaguchi features over 90 types of seasonal flowers blooming along a 350-meter-long lakeside promenade from April to November. Visitors can enjoy various flowers such as lavender, tulips, moss phlox, and cosmos depending on the season.
Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine At the globally famous "Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine," which captures the three symbols of Japan - Mount Fuji, a five-storied pagoda, and cherry blossoms - in a single photograph, approximately 650 Somei Yoshino cherry trees reach their peak bloom from early to mid-April.
Hana no Miyako Park At the "Hana no Miyako Park," which boasts a vast area of 300,000 square meters, visitors can enjoy various flowers that show different colors and beauty each season. Tulips, forget-me-nots, California poppies, poppies, zinnias, sunflowers, cosmos, and other flowers welcome visitors to the park.
Itinerary
- Starting from the meeting point in front of Kawaguchiko Station, you will arrive at Oishi Park in about 15 minutes. You will have about 30 minutes to explore the lakeside promenade and enjoy the beautiful flowers. You can also admire the majestic Mt. Fuji, which is visible beyond Lake Kawaguchiko.
- After that, you will arrive at the next destination, Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, in about 20 minutes. You will have about 60 minutes to spend there.
- From Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, you will arrive at the next destination, Hana no Miyako Flower Park, in about 20 minutes. You will have about 60 minutes to spend there before returning to Kawaguchiko Station.
