The Experience
Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba: "Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba" is a traditional village that was created in 2006, after 40 years of effort to restore the original landscape of a beautiful thatched-roof settlement that was destroyed by a typhoon in 1966. The village is centered around 20 thatched-roof houses and offers various traditional craft experiences, souvenir shops, and dining options.
Fuji Saiko Izumi-no-Yu Onsen: At "Izumi no Yu," the only natural hot spring in Lake Saiko, you can enjoy a stunning view of the lake from the premises. The indoor bath uses natural sea salt, which has a calming effect on the mind. The hot spring also has a spacious open-air bath and a sauna. After bathing, you can relax in a large resting area of about 100 tatami mats. There is also a dining area where you can enjoy a meal. Heal your daily fatigue at "Izumi no Yu."
Itinerary
- Starting from the meeting point in front of Kawaguchiko Station, it takes about 25 minutes to arrive at Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba, located near Lake West. There will be a stay time of about 70 minutes at the destination.
- Afterward, we will arrive at our next destination, the hot spring facility called Izumi no Yu, in about 10 minutes. After spending about an hour relaxing in the hot springs, we will return to Kawaguchiko Station.
